twixt - group exhibition. Wednesday 14 January – Wednesday 25 February 2026, Atypical Gallery - 109-113 Royal Ave, Belfast BT1 1FF
I have created, mixed and mastered a new soundscape that can be listened to as part of the twixt exhibition at ATypical Gallery, Belfast.
The soundscape was created as part of a new show I have been writing called Synthesis - a play that focuses on themes of matrescence, community and motherhood. The writing of the first draft of which was funded by the University of Atypical’s d/Deaf & Disabled Artist’s Fund grant programme/Arts Council of Northern Ireland Lottery funding.
The exhibition features work by multiple artists who received support.

“Project Lighthouse brings together 30 young cultural champions — from Sligo, Derry~Londonderry, and Strabane — to explore identity, difference, and belonging through the creative power of theatre, storytelling, and lived experience.
Led by two cross-border artists - Abby Oliveira and Bob Kelly - and supported by Millennium Forum Productions, Hawk’s Well Theatre, Children in Crossfire and the John and Pat Hume Foundation, this bold new programme asks young people aged 18–27 to become beacons of empathy, not just by talking about peace — but by living it, creating it, and sharing it on stage and screen.” -

“Against the backdrop of the cost-of-living crisis, a young mixed-race Scots woman and a working-class Irish singer from Tallaght in Dublin are evicted without warning. After a year of living homeless on the streets, they chance upon the landlord that evicted them, and set out for revenge.”
